'Coach House' Holiday Cottage

       Coach House is set in a pleasant peaceful situation, just outside the village of Drybrook, in the beautiful Forest of Dean near the outstanding Wye Valley. It has fields on three sides of the garden and wide-ranging views of woods and fields. Walks from the cottage give views over Gloucestershire and the Severn Valley in one direction and Herefordshire and Wales in the other.

       The village of Drybrook has a mini market, a butchers shop, a post office, a chemist’s shop, a hairdresser’s and pub all within a half-mile stroll.

       Originally a stone built barn, the accommodation is on one level, is very spacious, and has been comfortably furnished, double-glazed and well equipped with everything you require. There is an open fire in the lounge and double doors open onto the garden overlooking the surrounding woods and fields – perfect for relaxing on those long summer days and cozy in the winter.

       The location is Central for the Forest of Dean and Wye Valley, being 6 miles from Ross on Wye and 8 miles from Speech House in the centre of the Forest.

The cottage is comprised of : -

The hallway, with airing cupboard, leading off to the bathroom and spacious lounge.

The bathroom has a full size bath with an over-bath power shower, a heated radiator, a toilet and washbasin.

The lounge has comfortable armchairs and settee plus new, metal action sofa bed, a dining table and chairs. There is a Television, Video recorder and DVD / CD / tape players.

The bedroom has one double bed and plenty of wardrobe space and a dressing table.

The fitted kitchen is large with another dining table, fridge, chest freezer, full-size electric cooker, microwave, washing machine, plenty of work surfaces and cupboards.

There is a dedicated parking area along one side of the cottage.

 

       Coach House offers good quality accommodation in a peaceful rural location and is highly recommended by its guests and its inspectors.

 

 

The following are included in the rental:

 

          Electricity

          Linen and towels

          Night storage heating

          First basket of logs provided for the optional log fire.

 

Off street PARKING is provided alongside the cottage.

 

Well-behaved PETS are WELCOME with prior notice.

 

NO SMOKING is permitted in the cottage for the comfort of all our guests.

Since 2004 Coach House has earned the English Tourism Council self-catering accommodation standard of THREE STARS.

A deposit of 30% of the Holiday cost is required on booking.

The full cost of the holiday must be paid 8 weeks prior to the arrival date.

In the event of a cancellation, if notice is given prior to the 8 weeks, the deposit will be forfeited unless we are able to re-let the cottage.

If cancellation is made during the 8 weeks and the cottage remains un-let the full cost will be forfeited.
